Night-Time is the Right Time

They taught you to follow the rules when you only needed to be free.

They taught you to act like others when you just wanted to express yourself.

They taught you to be productive during the day when your soul was connected to your heart only during the night.

The night-time is the only moment to get rid of everything. And so it happens.

The day is over. Everything is quiet, and your scrambler is waiting for you. It’s time to put it all behind you. It’s time to be you.

Don’t be scared. A light will be with you.

Everything is uncertain at the beginning. You’re losing your balance. The price of risk is high. But you are ready to pay for it. You only need a few attempts.

Now you can be on your own. You know yourself. You know you can do better. So, you do it. You overcome your limits by challenging time and space.

And that light that guided you in the darkness now gives way to thousands of lights.

Thanks, Bergamo, for still being our light in these dark moments. Nothing will ever turn you off.

A film by Francesco Torricella.

Special thanks to our rider Daniele Ruggeri and DMD Helmets.

Be strong – Be together

Every day, we used to do what we love, meet people who share our values, see clients satisfied with what we create.

Every day, we used to be inspired by the world’s beauty, and we turned that inspiration into timeless products.

Every day, we used to discover this way of life.

Maybe at the moment, those days seem so distant. But we want you to remember that those days will come soon.

We are talking about a journey, which begins from the research of vintage and iconic garments, embraces high-quality materials and craftsmanship skills, and goes on until our people proudly wear our creations.

You know, traveling can be better if you have someone to share your experience with. And we are so grateful for being able to share this journey with our retailers that made this possible since they have trusted and worked with us.

The world looks better when you have a place in it. And all of this is real thanks to people who believe in us, in our community, in our life-style.

It is said that the sunrise comes right after the darkest hour.

Now more than ever, we want you to know that we are together and, as soon as we will be able to do it, we will ride together again.

Thanks to all of you.

The Dutch Master of Denim wears our Canvas Jacket in The Heritage Post No. 33, March 2020

Wouter Munnichs, founder of Long John and denim specialist for brands and retails, has chosen our “Toro Seduto” Single Rider Canvas jacket -limited edition- for his interview for The Heritage Post No. 33, March 2020.

The interview, just published on the special issue of March 2020, deals with Munnichs’s life and the roots of his vocation. Munnichs began to grow his passion for denim at the age of 12. Right now, after 25 years of experience in denim, footwear, and lifestyle industry, he daily provides advice and news on his online magazine, Long John. He is also working as a freelance denim specialist for brands and retails.

What about Long John?

Long John is an online magazine established in the Netherlands in 2011, by Wouter Munnichs. The core of the magazine is denim. You can explore the world of denim through its updated posts about jeans, jackets, bags, and even aprons. The magazine also has room for other high-quality products, such as leather shoes and vintage bandanas.

If you are interested in:

  • Exploring the latest (denim) trends
  • Meeting (denim) people
  • Finding outstanding pieces and stores

Long John is right for you (and its website is available in 10 languages!)

What about The Heritage Post?

The Heritage Post is a German magazine for authentic people, first released in 2012. It is unconventionally created with passion and dedication to present a good lifestyle in all areas of life. The magazine wants its readers to form their own opinions and individual style. The Heritage Post is much more than a fashion magazine: it shows extraordinary things and timeless products. Old objects, almost forgotten, are so revisited to give life to iconic pieces.

In particular, The Heritage Post No. 33, March 2020, is dedicated to the Japanese lifestyle:

  • Clothing brands
  • Food
  • Architecture
  • Footwear
  • Design
  • Craftsmanship

Part of each edition of The Heritage Post is The Rugged Guys chapter, where people show their outfits, their most favorite items. And it is where Munnichs wears our “Toro Seduto” Single Rider Canvas jacket -limited edition-.

Thank you, Wouter! Hope to see you again really soon

Following the Clouds – 2000 km on the road from the Alps to the Pyrenees

We are proud to announce the release of Following the Clouds: a photo-book about a motorcycle trip from the Alps to the Pyrenees promoted by Shangri-La Heritage.

The book has been produced by our close collaborator and adventurer Francesco Torricella

The adventure started the summer of 2019 when three riders decided to escape from their ordinary lives and look for the Hispanic Shangri-La: the Pyrenees.

Daniel Verzeroli, Daniele Ruggeri, and Francesco Torricella left the heart of Northern Italy to come across the soul of Spain.

In 10 days, the guys had been traveling for more than 2000 kilometers, riding in on a:

  • Triumph Bonneville T100
  • BMW GS 1990
  • Kawasaki W800

With a tent and some clothes tied to their motorbikes, they were ready to greet the Alps, discover the Pyrenees, challenge the Navarra desert, and finally see the Atlantic Ocean.

The guys came across:

  • Italian Alps – IT
  • Lac du Mont Cenis – FR
  • French Alps and Vercors – FR
  • Ardeche and Cervennes – FR
  • Pyrenees – ES
  • Bardenas Reales – ES
  • Pamplona – ES

Legendary roads, unexplored landscapes, and stretches of clouds were a step from heaven.

The book collects this adventure in 144 pages, where every chapter represents a milestone.

It will be available on our website and to our selected retailers.

Date available soon.
