Inspired by late 30s “Cossack” type jackets and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Cossack” Tartan represents an authentic garment made of Premium Tartan Wool 29 Oz from Tuscany in Red color, with leather trimmings made with vegetable tanned Lambskin from Tuscany (Italy).

Tartan wool jackets was originally worn by Hunters, Punks and Highlanders.

Tartan is defined by a combination of factors. The use of bold colors in a twill weave are woven symmetrically at right angles so as to create ‘stepped’ diagonal lines. Originally woven in wool colored using natural dyes, our Red Tartan Wool is produced by an Historical Italian Mill that opened its doors in 1952, and has been continuously producing premium quality fabrics since that time.

The lining is made of “Espresso Coffee” color viscose, and the leather collar-tab closes the neck to keep you warm during winter and cold trips.
