The Full Grain Steerhide from Vicenza (Italy) is a high quality steerhide that ages beautifully, developing fantastic fades that reveal unique undertones. Thickness is around 1,1mm, making the Chiodo a durable and high-end premium jacket.
Natural leathers like the Vicenza Steerhide have their own distinctive character and slight differences in texture, grain, scratches and color tone are signs of its authenticity.
A double-breasted front provides an additional layer of protection to the chest, with a storm flap designed to keep water away from the body, protecting every Rider on the Storm. The most distinctive feature of the jacket, however, remains the legendary D-Pocket, also known as the “Gun,” or “Map” pocket.
The lining is made of a Special Edition “Pied de Poule” in Forest Green color 100% Viscose.
The metallic zippers are made of antique brass with engraved markings.

i found Shangri-La by coincidence and ordered me a Chiodo in Steerhide. Shipment was very fast and I was very pleased when I openend the package. The Jacket ist a beauty and the enclosed catalogue is very oldshool, which means unbelievably thick with great pictures of the collection and overall just a very fine piece of art.
Unfortunately the jacket wouldnt fit me right, so I had to return it back. Marco took incredible good care of my problem and offered me quick help. I never, really never experienced such a friendly customer service.
Although the jacket wasn`t right for me, im already checking out for another option with Shangri-La. The Brand and the quality is just supreme!!!

This is my second time coming back to Shangri -La Heritage, and yet the crasftmanship still surpassed my expectations. What a beauty! The leather is sublime, and will age beautifully. The cut and length are just right. And the attention to every detail is just flawless. Funny enough I went to the iconic Lewis Leathers before settling on purchasing the Chiodo, and I say with full confidence that Shangri-La tops them all. Also worth mentioning, the customer service team is probably the best I’ve ever experienced from any brand, and the craftsmanship just speaks for itself. For reference, I’m 6’1, 165lbs, and I went for a size Large. Usually I’m a Medium, but I sized up so that there’s plenty of room of a thick jumper underneath. Thank you once again with all your help. An iconic brand in the making!
