Inspired by the original Navajo designs from American Indians, this authentic Blanket is made by yarn-dyed 100% pure Recycled Cotton.
Crafted in Italy, the “Dakota” Navajo Cotton Blanket is made with a triple layer Jacquard Weaving that has been brushed to get a real soft Hand Feel.
The historic period of Navajo rug weavings really began in the very early 1700s and ran all the way to the 1850s. Weavers, learning from the Pueblos, Spanish and traders, created blankets, dresses, rugs and tapestries that have set the foundation for what has been a momentous artistic and cultural movement for the Navajo people.
The “Dakota” Navajo Cotton Blanket is inspired by late 1870’s classic serape textiles and it’s a tribute to the Heritage of Navajo Culture.

The blanket is just gorgeous – the colors, the motifs, everything comes together really well to produce a stunning result.
The cloth is also very soft and pleasing to the touch, great size that comfortably fits two adults.
The leather carry-on strap is a nice touch, but this blanket is way too nice to take on a picnic.
