Inspired by the late 1910s Newsboy Caps and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Outlaw” 8 Panel Riders Cap is made of heavy Italian Melton Wool 26 Oz in Navy Blue and Forest Green color, with leather trimmings made with vegetable tanned Lambskin from Tuscany (Italy).
The “Outlaw” 8 Panel Riders Cap is a combination of the Newsboys Cap worn by men and boys of the Italian Working Class during the 1910s-20s and the Riders Cap from the movie “The Wild One” (1953). Its versatility allows you to wear it both ways.

I was searching for a more feminine and unique newsboy cap and stumbled upon this website with their really beautiful utilitarian fashion pieces, and saw the aesthetic “Outlaw” in Men’s section but not Women. I still gave it a try, and my great anticipation was richly rewarded with this impeccably made “Outlaw” rider cap – such hefty wool, and meticulously sewn panels, and deep rich hue that’s more “blu Notte” than navy, and the satisfying weight on the hand, and the lustrous silk lining – all so delightful!
At first the cap would sit a bit awkward above my ears and not well-fitted, until I discovered the elastic rim feature and slid the topmost of my ears inside the hat. Perfecto! This instantly became my new favorite headwear in the wintry climate.
