Inspired by 1950s Skyliner Jackets and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Alaska” Black Skyliner Jacket represents an authentic garment made of Comfortemp® Thermo – Fibre Padding with an external layer made of a special 60/40 Fabric by Olmetex®, an Italian Excellence making the best technical fabrics in the world (since 1952 in Como, Italy).

The “Alaska” Skyliner Jacket is inspired by the original Skyliner Jacket introduced in 1954. It holds historical significance as the first down jacket patented in the United States, marking a revolutionary shift in cold-weather apparel. It was adopted by U.S. Air Force pilots during WWII for its insulation and lightness under flight suits.

The 60/40 Olmetex® Fabric combined with Comfortemp® Thermo – Fibre Padding guarantees warmth and protection against any bad weather condition, and a High Thermal Insulation.

The Comfortemp® Thermo – Fibre Padding is a high-performance, washable and fast-drying padding. This incredible padding is very light and offers excellent insulation values as well as high breathability. Moreover, the jacket offers very high wearing comfort and an extremely soft and fluffy feel.
