“Barnes & Moore x Shangri-La Heritage” Testa di Moro Leather Belt

This is a Special Belt in collaboration with the British Artisans Barnes and Moore.

Inspired by the traditional Western belts and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Barnes & Moore x Shangri-La Heritage” Testa di Moro Leather Belt represents an authentic belt made of Full Grain Cowhide Veg Tanned from England.

This British Vegetable-tanned Tumbled leather is a premium natural leather known for its rich texture, deep character, and environmentally conscious tanning process. Tanned using plant-based tannins from sources like oak bark, chestnut, or mimosa, this leather develops a unique patina over time and gains softness through tumbling, giving the leather a worn ‘vintage’ feel.

A special buckle in solid brass, antique nickel plated, from a small Japanese foundry, traditionally hand cast using ’sand casting’ methods.

The stitching is done by hand, using high grade Japanese waxed thread, and using the traditional ’saddle stitched’ method.

The attention to detail makes it a rare and authentic Western Belt Hand Made in England.
