I have just received this jacket in size L. I am 190 cm and weigh around 85 kg and the fit is snug but not tight. I can cross my arms without any effort or stretching of the leather. Given that a leather jacket is bound to stretch a bit after wearing it, I would say that the fit is close to perfect.

The quality of the jacket is excellent. The leather is thick but soft and it seems really durable. I would I am surprisingly satisfied with the quality and the fit.

A couple of years ago i started my search for the perfect leather jacket. One that i could wear both casually and dressed up, while also protecting me when i occasionally ride my bike. It’s a hard balance to strike, both functional and visual, but with this Varenne they managed to pull it off effortlessly.

Effortless is how i’d describe it in one word, actually. The material is subtle, not flashy, it feels soft while also being thick and has a beautiful texture. It wouldn’t catch someone’s eye unnecessarily, but you don’t have to pay a lot of attention to see that this is a quality leather jacket. It stands out for all the right reasons.

I had to order mine a good one size up after trying both M and L, the slim fit cut silhouette is timeless and falls right into place both over a T-shirt or a sweater. Sleeves are long enough and the waist is cut at just the right height to not bulge while riding.

Details are well thought of, no bells and whistles here, everything is functional.
A simple buttoned strap is hidden underneath the collar to be able to close it up, the brass buttons are subtle and snappy, zipping feels smooth and weighty. It almost has that something that vintage Italian sports cars have, that engaging feeling when everything is just right. The design, the feeling, the smell…

Finding the perfect jacket ended here for me, i found my Shangri-La.

Thanks to everyone working on this brand, and to Marco for the excellent assistance!

I am really happy with the Varenne. The leather quality is very good. It feels very soft and is getting even smoother every day I am wearing it…
I also have to say that the service with Marco and Co was very good! I couldn’t decide which size is better for me. Talking to Marco he made me the offer to send M and L to compare so I could decide at home without stress.
All in all I can really recommend to buy your jacket here. Nice handmade high quality leather jacket with a good service.

Another very happy client. The Varenne jacket is a good choice also for non motorcyclists like me who want a tailored fit leather jacket for every day use. The leather is robust but also nicely soft and comfortable to wear, does not require breaking in. No mismatch in the grain. The viscose lining lets you slip in and out easily. Sizing advice from Marco was excellent. I ordered the older model with the more vibrant tobacco color, one of which they still had in stock. This jacket and brand can easily compete against the famous Aero Leather jackets from Scottland. 100% recommendation.

The Varenne jacket is just really amazing!! Fitting perfectly as a second skin.
Also, I love the general quality and the beautiful details, special mention for the zippers, pockets, and that wonderful brown leather.
I received the jacket two weeks ago almost in the same time that my “new” 1995 Guzzi 1100 Sport that I picked up in North of Amsterdam.
From there I made a road trip to South of France and then back in Paris. 2.500 km in five days. The best way to better know the bike and the jacket!
And I have to say that we were a great team together.
